Fixed Term: Part-time Florist 

Wild About Flowers, a well-established florist in Keynsham, is seeking a qualified and experienced florist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a florist with at least two years of experience in a retail flower shop, who has a strong skill set in wedding and funeral floristry, and is passionate about creating high-quality floral designs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and creating hand-tied bouquets and bespoke floral arrangements for all occasions
• Preparing and executing funeral tributes with sensitivity and professionalism
• Working with clients to fulfil wedding flower briefs with creativity and attention to detail
• Providing exceptional customer service, advising clients on flower selection, styling, and aftercare
• Maintaining the freshness and presentation of all flowers and stock
• Assisting with visual merchandising and shop displays to create an inviting retail space
• Helping with the day-to-day running of the shop, including processing payments, stock control, and handling deliveries
• Managing customer orders, including in-store, online, and telephone inquirie
• Supporting seasonal and event work when required

Hours: Approx 18 hours per week

Fixed Term: Barista  

We’re looking for a fully qualified barista to bring their skills and passion for great coffee to Sips, our charming coffee spot inside Wild About Flowers in Keynsham. 

This is a short-term role, perfect for someone who loves great coffee, beautiful flowers, and a welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Crafting top-quality coffees and teas with skill and precision
• Delivering polite and professional service to our lovely customers
• Keeping the coffee bar clean, stocked, and running efficiently
• Supporting a dynamic and creative workspace – be ready to jump in where needed!
• Occasionally assisting in the flower workroom (e.g., simple tasks like packaging, cleaning, stationery) 

What We’re Looking For:

• A fully qualified barista with proven experience
• Someone who is friendly, professional, and adaptable
• A strong work ethic – happy to pull up your sleeves and help out
• Passion for working in a creative, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team

Hours: Approx 12 hours per week
